Anti Aging Antioxidants – The Silent Worker from Within.Anti aging antioxidants are molecules that have the purpose of slowing or preventing oxidation in other molecules. The antioxidants that people hear about most are the ones that affect our bodies. These particular antioxidants can slow down the process of aging in the body and can reduce the number of free radicals in the body. Anti aging antioxidants work by the chemical reactions taking place between the substance and the oxidizing agent. When oxidation occurs in the body, the body builds up the number of free radicals. These free radicals can begin a chain reaction that ends with the damage of your cells. An antioxidant introduced into this situation will stop the chain reaction between the oxidizing agent and the cell, remove the free radicals, and inhibit the oxidization of other chain reactions. Some common anti aging antioxidants are vitamin C, vitamin E, and other enzymes found naturally in the biology of plants and animals. All living beings must maintain balance of antioxidants in their system in order for the system to work properly. If a plant or animal has a really low level of antioxidants in the system, there will be oxidative stress present as well as evidence of damaged and dying cells. Researchers studying antioxidants have found that oxidative stress is present in many human diseases, but it is still being studied as to whether the oxidative stress is caused by the disease, or causes the onset of the disease. Though the cause is unclear, the effect of antioxidants used in the treatment of strokes and neurodegenerative diseases is proof that antioxidants do work in order to help restore the body. For those who are healthy, it is still good to be aware of what antioxidants do for the body and how everyone can improve their health with antioxidants. Antioxidants are found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, and green tea. Taking in a good amount of antioxidants daily will not only keep you healthy, but it may also work to reduce the signs of aging. These compounds rejuvenate your body at the cellular level, so if you have been taking in enough antioxidants into your body, you will find that you are aging at a much slower rate than a person who is an unhealthy eater, who smokes regularly, and those who are not getting enough sleep or exercise. Learning about the benefits of antioxidants can help improve your life. If you want to begin to reduce the signs of aging, make sure that you are eating healthy and maintaining a regular exercise routine and sleep patterns.
