How to Avoid Getting Wrinkles


Wrinkles appear as fine lines on our faces and necks when we age. The best way to avoid getting wrinkles is to protect oneself from getting these lines. As it says Prevention is better than cure, simple changes in behaviour can extend the time indefinitely and avoid wrinkles from appearing on the forehead crease or laugh line.

Avoid getting the wrinkles by protecting the skin from the sun. Apply liberal quantities of sunscreen on the face, neck, chest and shoulders. These delicate areas are exposed even in everyday clothing, not in swimsuits only. The sunray dries the skin and makes it prone to damages from environment changes.

Eating a cup of nuts everyday helps to avoid getting wrinkles. The antioxidants present in the nuts help to replace the hormones that our bodies stop making after the age of 35. Eating nuts will keep you looking young for a longer period.

One can also avoid getting wrinkles by paying attention to the facial expression habits. Maintaining a deliberate smooth and serene posture will prevent your muscles to become accustomed with facial wrinkles.

Stress plays a major role in getting wrinkles as it prevents one from taking care of oneself. Make skincare a soothing part of your morning and evening ritual.

Smoking plays havoc to your skin and ages it quickly. Stop smoking and it will definitely help you in avoiding getting wrinkles. If you are a non smoker, but have smokers around, the smoke will dry out your skin and make it rough. Cleanse and moisturize your skin regularly with moisturizing towelettes and at home wash your skin thoroughly and use a moisturizing mask to prevent getting wrinkles.
