How to Exfoliate Your SkinWant a healthy and glowing skin? A sure way to achieve it is to exfoliate your skin. The process removes dirt, germs, bacteria, impurities and dead cells to reveal new skin cells and let your skin glow. It's easy to exfoliate your skin. The materials you need are face wash, a loofah or a sponge to scrub your face, a scrub to exfoliate your facial skin and a good moisturizer. Remove any makeup from your skin, wash your face with warm water and facewash and rinse it properly. Pat your face with a towel so that it remains moist. Take your loofah or facial sponge, apply a coin sized amount of facial exfoliating scrub on it and scrub your face gently in a circular motion for one or two minutes until your face is covered entirely with the exfoliator. Wait for another one to two minutes to let the exfoliator sit on your face. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry with a towel. Finish the process by applying facial moisturizer to your face immediately to prevent excessive drying of your skin. This entire activity to exfoliate your skin removes dead cells, dirt, germs, bacteria and impurities from your skin and makes it look young and healthy. However, you should not exfoliate your skin more than twice a week using scrubber etc as such applications are also damaging for the skin. Care must also be taken to use approved applicators that are designed for the face and not for the body. Use only lukewarm water to exfoliate your skin. |
