Heart Diseases and Aging – If There’s A Will, There’s A Way To Cut RiskHeart diseases and aging problems are among the top health concerns of today. Excessive stress, sedentary lifestyles, too much indulgence in foods of high fat content, excessive smoking and drinking etc. are making us more vulnerable to heart diseases. And aging, in many ways, is both a cause and effect of heart diseases. High cholesterol that leads to formation of plaques in the blood vessels is the most important cause of heart diseases. These plaques block the free flow of blood in the vessels, making the heart pump harder to reach blood to different parts of the body. This extra pressure weakens the heart muscles. Sometimes these plaques burst in the arteries, cutting of blood supply from the heart. When it happens in the brain, it is a stroke. When it happens in any other part of the body, it is a heart attack. Heart diseases mean a highly restricted lifestyle. Only plain and simple foods, no fats, no fries, regular exercises, no smoking, no drinking, no stress and lots of rest. Such restricted way of life often brings in some psychological aging. It can be explained as a state of mental frustration and hopelessness that takes over a person when he is denied the normal and usually fun-filled and enjoyable ways of life. This sort of aging also marks itself through appearance of many symptoms that are common with natural aging. However, other than regular vitamin and anti-aging supplementation, there is hardly any way out to keep off the symptoms of heart diseases and aging.
