Lowering Stress and Anti Aging.

Aging is something that many people get stressed out about. Lowering stress is essential in anti aging. While everyone ages, not everyone ages gracefully or beautifully, and the manners in which one handles stress has a lot to do with it. By lowering stress, one can ease into aging and possibly delay the aging process all together.

Stress can come in many forms. There is stress at work in meeting deadlines and handling the workloads. There is stress at home when dealing with one’s spouse and or children. There is stress in the car with all of the traffic. There is physical stress at the gym. There are more forms of stress than almost any other outside influence on one’s body.

When stress is poorly handled, the body gets tense, and reacts to the stress in a negative manner. This can include a rise in blood pressure and heart rates. There can also be headaches and upset stomachs if the stress is high enough. Anger can also be seen and aggression is very common with the anger of poorly handled stress.

All of these stresses on one’s body, paired with the outside stress, can quickly age a body. The heart ages very quickly when subjected to high blood pressure and high heart rates. This, coupled with the tensing of the muscles and headaches can lead people to taking medication that only makes the matter worse, such as coffee or other stimulants. All of this can take a very impressive toll on the body. This can cause the skin to become dry, hair to turn grey, and the body to prematurely deteriate.

If one knows how to handle stress through better organization and better management, the damaging effects of stress are minimal. With good stress management skills, one is able to take the stress and manage it into a productive agent. With this type of management, one avoids the costly rise in blood pressure and heart rates. One is able to enjoy better skin and hair for longer periods by being aware of the stress and managing it in a productive manner.

Good stress management skills include:

1. Keeping a schedule with each task listed so that nothing gets missed and everything is organized in an efficient manner.

2. Realizing what is important and what is not important. This helps to ensure that the important things are taken care of in a timely manner.

3. Breathing whenever stressful situations occur. One cannot plan for everything, but managing the unplanned is a learned skill that can help one maintain his or her youth longer.

4. Learning how to let go of the stress helps to keep the stress levels to a minimum. This helps to limit the amount of damage that the stress does to one’s body.

5. Taking frequent breaks can lower one’s stress levels and leave one more refreshed and able to handle other stressful situations better. Taking frequent breaks is considered one of the most universal anti-stressing techniques suggested worldwide.

With these anti-stress and stress management techniques and tips, one can help in lowering stress in one’s life and live a longer and more youthful existence.
